This week, we finally get to say ‘Winter is Here’, and it is here with a bang! (No, we’re not referring to avalanche control.)
Our 24th Annual Art of Winter Exhibition is shaping up to be one of our best ever, thanks to the support of Gibbons Whistler and Arts Whistler, who will be providing a sampling of seasonal refreshments and live music respectively to enhance our flagship exhibition! Those who have been following will already have seen the dozens of beautiful new artworks arriving daily – and will be excited to see the special edition ‘Small Wall’ we are curating for the occasion.
But that’s not all: make the most of your visit this weekend by exploring all that the Galleries of Whistler have to offer on Arts Whistler’s inaugural Gallery Weekend. We’re excited to unite in a fantastic finale to a successful ‘Fall for Arts’ to provide an exciting line up of exhibition openings, artist demonstrations and other showcases to fill your weekend. The Adele Campbell Gallery, Suzanne Johnston’s Studio Gallery, and our newest neighbors, Fathom Stone Art Gallery, look forward to welcoming you at the Shops at the Westin!
Also taking place is the annual Arts Whistler Holiday Market – your opportunity to support local vendors whilst stocking up on hand-made and hand-baked gifts and treats ahead of the festive season. The event has even been featured in Food Network Canada as one of top 10 Tasty Canadian Christmas Markets!
Oh, and if you find the time… you can even go skiing.
