Joseph T Sauvé is a metal artist who draws inspiration from Canadian landscapes and wildlife. Growing up, He spent his time on the waters of Georgian Bay, Ontario and learned the welding trade in his fathers metal fabrication shop. With so much experience working both on large industrial projects and small custom pieces, working with metal has become second nature. By skillfully heat-treating the steel, Sauvé is able to create a spectrum of colour using flame instead of paint. This effect is unique because of the colour play as the metal reflects natural lighting.
Joe made Whistler, BC home in 2007 and now works from his studio in Function Junction creating custom and one-of-a-kind metal art.
